The Centre’s archives include a wide range of items
and documentation related to the Holocaust and Nazi era. Staff and volunteers
at the Centre can assist with personal and professional research including
providing copies or information about original documents and items in the
collection not on display. Resources available include newspaper clippings,
personal identification documents, pictures, posters and photos.
The Centre has received funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany Inc and is in the process of transferring its paper-based catalogue of archival records into easily searchable, electronic format.
The Centre’s extensive archives includes original items that illustrate and document the Holocaust as well as pre-war and post-war Jewish life.
Information about the establishment of the Museum, the development of
its collection, local Holocaust-related commemorations and events is also
maintained. Records available include correspondence, reports, photographs,
videos, audio-recordings, plans, newspaper cuttings, publications and articles
written by volunteers and staff.
