Volunteering

The Centre welcomes volunteers who are enthusiastic and committed to supporting the Jewish Holocaust Museum and Research Centre’s mission and associated activities. Volunteers are integral to the day to day operation of the Centre and have been the life-blood of the organisation since its establishment in 1984.

Volunteers are involved in a variety of work, including cataloguing the collection, preparing educational material, working in the library, undertaking research for exhibitions, assisting with mailouts and fundraising activities, working with digital and video material, assisting at functions as well as general administrative or maintenance duties.

Individuals interested in becoming a guide, can register their interest with the Centre so that they can be contacted when the next formal training program is scheduled.
